Caulder Avenue 

Spartanburg Housing plans to develop 24 duplexes on 3.95 acres owned by the agency on the south side of the City of Spartanburg. This project will be funded through the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority Small Rental Development Program. Once completed, this 18 2-bedroom and Six 1-bedroom development will help address the affordable housing shortage in Spartanburg County. The project will feature homes that are Energy Star 3.1 rated, along with energy-efficient appliances. The targeted income range for tenants will range from 30% AMI, 80% AMI, and 80% AMI and above. Spartanburg Housing anticipates construction to begin in May 2025 and be completed by May 2026.

Page Lake Manor II 

Spartanburg Housing intends to build 24 one-bedroom, low-rise, single-story apartments on the remaining 3.33 acres of the current Page Lake Manor site near the Arkwright Community in Spartanburg County. This project will be funded through the South Carolina Housing Finance and Development Authority Small Rental Development Program. Once completed, this one-bedroom development will help address the housing shortage for the elderly/population in Spartanburg County. Developing this parcel is part of Spartanburg Housing's strategic plan for creating affordable housing on the 130 acres owned by the agency. The project will feature homes that are Energy Star 3.1 rated, along with energy-efficient appliances. The targeted income range for tenants will range from 30% AMI to 80% AMI and below. Spartanburg Housing anticipates construction to begin in August 2025 and be completed by August 2026.


Preservation - Victoria Gardens

Victoria Gardens Apartments is an 80-unit apartment complex located on the North Side of Spartanburg. The complex was originally constructed in 1970 but was rehabbed in 2021.
