Spartanburg Housing will accept applications for the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) units located at:
Northside Station Apartments 500 Howard St Spartanburg, SC 29306.

Applications will be accepted in person beginning Monday, March 17, 2025, at 9:00am until Friday, March 21, 2025, at 12:00pm. All applicants must have a referral letter from the South Carolina Department of Mental Health.

• 500 Northside Station is a $17M mixed-income rental housing development that includes 90 units of 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom apartments, 81 units being a mix of affordable housing and 9 market-rate housing units.
• SC Mental Health Referral Admission Preference - Spartanburg Housing will provide an admission preference for individuals referred by the SC Dept of Mental Health and/or their Community Partners Agencies solely for units in Project Based Voucher Properties that have been funded by SC Dept of Mental Health. The SC Dept of Mental Health and/or the corresponding Community Partner Agency must provide Spartanburg Housing with a written referral indicating the individual's status under the specified preference categories.
• All apartments include a range, refrigerator, and central heat/air. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
